On 27th January 2011 Denholm MacNamee Limited, completed an acquisition of the shares of a private company called TankTech Service Ltd, and secured the skills of Peter Reynolds and Brian Hogg, directors of TankTech Services Ltd. The company's processes and services have a wide variety of applications: for storage tanks, vessels, refinery process plants and marine tanker decontamination.
This is a strategic purchase, in summary TankTech will become a trading division of Denholm Macnamee Limited. This bolsters the Aberdeen operation range of services by adding specialist chemical cleaning and decontamination. It is TankTech skills which are to be implemented on the first phase of the recently won contract by Denholm Macnamee Limited, for cleaning the De-Ballast Tank at the Talisman Flotta Terminal in the Orkney Islands. On the success of this project we have ambitions to become a major force in chemical lead, decontamination contracts.
